With apologies for the late notice, we wanted to inform you that Vespers will not be held this evening, Monday, 3/10 at Christ the Savior. Ongoing work in the mechanical room and chapel would make it difficult to hold the service. However, Presanctified Liturgy is still scheduled for Wednesday, 3/12 at 6:00 PM, and we hope you can join us then. Thank you for your understanding!

Great and Holy Week
During Great and Holy Week, Orthodox Christians walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the final and saving events of His earthly ministry, beholding the depth of His love as He willingly embraces betrayal, suffering, and the Cross for the life of the world. From the Mystical Supper to the agony in the garden, from unjust judgment to crucifixion, we encounter the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. This sacred week is not merely a remembrance, but an invitation to enter these mysteries with watchfulness, repentance, and prayer. In His Passion, we see both the weight of our sin and the immeasurable mercy of God, for by His voluntary sacrifice He overcomes sin through forgiveness, conquers death through death, and prepares the way for the joy of His Resurrection.
